Barefoot Festival is all about getting back to basics, feeling the grass between your toes, and taking a break from the pressures of modern life. Try something new, spend quality time with your loved ones, and meet new friends. If you want a sneak peek, check out our magical video of Barefoot Festival 2021, created by the incredibly talented Dan Burgess at Vagabond Media.

We started in 2006, growing through word of mouth and recommendations. We are Leicestershire’s best-kept secret, with no corporate sponsors. Barefoot Festival is a grassroots gathering with big festival vibes and atmosphere. Enjoy stars overhead, fresh air, great company, and a communal campfire. From fantastic music and amazing workshops to a wide variety of activities and performances, we have something for everyone.

Expect a range of unique experiences, from capoeira and Bollywood dance routines to shamanic drumming circles and hula hooping. You can also take part in yoga, sound baths, and breathing ceremonies. Our forest school and bushcraft area offer great experiences for kids, and our amazing cabaret show hosted by the sensational Talulah Blue will leave you in awe.

We also have onsite massage therapists and healers, fantastic festival food from around the globe, fair-trade crafts, a fully licensed bar, and plenty of chill spaces to relax. The event is intimate yet bursting with energy and life.

More announcements are coming soon, so keep an eye on our socials and website for further details.

Please Note: We do not have showers onsite, and we use compost toilets. We do not have chemical waste facilities. Every adult camping ticket holder must also purchase a fully refundable sustainability ticket to ensure the site is left as we found it. With proof of a clean campsite, you can claim your refund. All other ticket types are non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of the circumstance.
